Animal Clinic of Westtown Village at 1169 Wilmington Pike, West Chester, Pennsylvania.

After calling numerous vets (including the veterinarian that I have gone to for 20 years) and services, I finally came across Animal Clinic of Westtown and Dr. Holmsten. Our 11 year old Shepherd had a sudden onset of a debilitating disease which renders the hind quarters usless. Max needed to be put down, but we wanted to have it done at our home. Doctors were charging $400 to $500 for the visit, which did not include taking the body (we wanted to bury him)and we just could not afford it. Dr. Holmsten was recommended by Pete Pagano (Paw Prints Forever, on Rt. 202), and couldn't have been a more sensitive, compassionate man in our time of need. His charge was less than half that of the others. He took the financial worry out of one of the saddest times. I will switch vets and recommend the two men to all I know.
